Message from Principal

Mr. D N Choudhary has obtained a postgraduate degree in Mathematics and a bachelor degree in Education. Mr. Choudhary had a bright academic record throughout his career. He joined this institute as a postgraduate teacher of Mathematics way back in June 1996. Prior to joining Vidya Vihar family, he had worked for about three years as a faculty in Mathematics in Purnea College, Purnea and thereafter as a postgraduate teacher of Mathematics in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for about four years. Mr. Choudhary is one of the founding teachers of this school and has contributed a lot in shaping the bright future of the students during his over 26 years of career in this institute. He has a very strong command over his subject and he has always been very popular among the students. Besides, he possesses strong critical thinking skills enabling him to consider the best interests of his students while working within the institution’s goals and standards. He is fully aware of parents’ expectations for learning have a safe and nurturing environment. He has a very methodical approach to plan lessons, grade papers besides maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He has been the house master of different houses and in each house he has left an indelible mark among his students by promoting a culture of conducive learning environment, maintaining self discipline, cooperating with house mates and developing good time management skills. This had a cascading effect in other houses as well. Younger children occasionally encounter conflicts over sharing resources like books, games and sports and he has always demonstrated well-developed conflict resolution abilities by displaying patience and active listening to consider each viewpoint and come to a compromise. He was a pioneer in enabling blended learning in the school education by adopting technology-based instructions, web-enhanced instructions, and mixed-mode instructions combining online educational materials and providing opportunities for interaction online including conducting doubt clearing sessions. To showcase his leadership activities, he has always volunteered to take on responsibilities that lie outside his day to day work by stepping out of his comfort zone. This has helped him in acquiring a long range of administrative experiences also as his additional responsibilities. He was assigned the responsibility of Administrator from 27th March 2010 and onwards. He has throughout been the in-charge of Time Table and responsible for several games and sports activities in the school. For a brief spell between September 09, 2010 to April 30, 2011, he worked as Principal-in-charge also. From 1st May 2011, he has althrough been the Vice-Principal of the school until he took the charge of Principal from September 1, 2022.
