Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized school, affiliated to the All India Board or a State Board of Education. Transfer Certificates have to be signed by the District Education Officer (DEO) if the child is transferred from other states.
3 passport size photographs.
Proof of residence of the child (Copy of Ration card / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card).
A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/ immunization as well as mention of any particular ailment or health condition about which the school ought to know.
In case the child is adopted, parents will have to submit an attested copy of the adoption certificate issued by the competent authority.
In case of divorce/separation, the parent who is admitting the child will have to submit an attested copy of the custody certificate of the child issued by the competent law officer.

Warm greetings to everyone It is a proud moment for Delhi Public School, Azad Nagar, Kanpur as it completes 25 glorious years of service in the field of education. The rich legacy of academic excellence with the motto ‘Service before Self’ has enabled the institution to grow in leaps and bounds. At DPS, Azad Nagar we endeavour to meet the needs of the individual child, at the same time coaxing them to step out of their comfort zones, explore their potential and accept new challenges. The Digital Revolution in the 21st century has brought about a paradigm shift transforming the future of human society. In such a scenario, we are committed to empower the students with sound knowledge, good character, meaningful experiences, life skills and values, so that they can contribute in building a strong nation and a better world. Further, the school inculcates in its students a respect for tradition and culture and ensures discipline, good manners and etiquettes. We also have a robust co-curricular and extracurricular activity program wherein training is imparted in multifarious disciplines like music, dance, drama, art, outdoor & indoor games under the careful guidance of expert coaches and teachers. The school proffers 24 different types of sports encompassing a wide range of contemporary/competitive sports and games such a golf, lawn tennis, archery, horse riding, squash, basket ball and many more.
