CANTERBURY BELLS SCHOOL NAGAL JWALAPUR was established in 1998 and it is managed under the aegies Canterbury Bells Shiksha Sansthan. The school is a co-educational senior secondary school affiliated to CBSE Delhi. It is situated in Nagal Jwalapur and Lachhiwala, Doiwala in district Dehradun and is dedicated to provide quality education to build character and moral of students. It is a combination of contemporary and modern education. Aim of our school is to educate the hand and heart as well as the intellect and foster cultural, moral and spiritual values in children. Special emphasis is made on the development of personality, co-operation and generosity or in one word the development of character. Hence intellectual development is balanced by the student artistic and other curricular activity. Vision of the school is to impart education with maximum value at minim cost to each and every child, supported by commitment and dedication of the CBS fraternity. We believe in terms of innovation and continuous upgradation of technology for providing best of facilities and expertise teaching to the students. Mission of the school is to impart an all round education to children, inculcating in them feelings of patriotism and brotherhood and make them spiritual and pure minded person to elevate the tone of the society in which they live and move the medium of instruction in English, Hindi and Sanskrit is taught in all the classes. We have well designed classrooms with enough space, teaching aids furniture and electrical gadgets. School has a common science Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Mathematics Lab, Social Science Lab and Language Lab., for the students to conduct practical as per the norms of CBSE. A well-equipped Computer Lab consisting latest configuration and network is also installed. All computer accessories like Printer, Scanner, Digital Camera and other devices are also available in Computer Lab. A well- equipped Library having about 3500 books with more than 500 titles. Regular magazines and journals are also available for the reading. School lays emphasis on extracurricular activities like music, song, dance and variety of other activities. Yoga, Vedanta, dramatics etc. Drawing, painting, clay modelling, paper craft etc. Rangoli competitions are also organized. Apart from education the school has earned a name for extra curricular activities. Football, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and other indoor games like chess, carom, table tennis are also there to deal competently with every relationship in the adult world. The school emphasis on English speaking & computer learning with the help of latest teaching techniques. Our campus is easily accessible on main Dehradun-Hardwar Highway near Doiwala.
