The impact of Covid-19 on the higher education system has been severe. Academic calendars have been pushed back, leaving students staring at an uncertain future. Technology, undoubtedly, has been a huge saviour, with many institutes opting for virtual sessions to ensure that learning never stops. There are, however, many challenges that still need to be overcome. This webinar aims to analyze what the ground reality is, and what institutes can do to adapt to this new normal.

Vikas is a popular career counsellor in the Jharkhand-Bihar region, having guided more than 15,000 students and parents. He has addressed more than 250 seminars and programmes in cities such as Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Hazaribaag, Delhi, Calcutta and Mumbai. He is the only counsellor in Jharkhand who is exposed to the nuances of psychology.

Dr Ramesh Kumar Pandey

Vice Chancellor, Ranchi University

Dr Kumar has more than 37 years of teaching and research experience. A PhD fellow from the University of Nottingham, U.K., he was awarded a national merit scholarship in 1970 on the basis of his higher secondary results. He was also awarded the Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship in 1982 – 83 by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK.

Professor Pramod Pathak

IIT - ISM (Management Studies Department) Dhanbad

Prof Pathak is a Management professor at IIT-ISM, Dhanbad. He also holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University, and regularly writes columns on spirituality, human behavior, and morality. He has also published many books on these subjects, and travels to other countries to deliver lectures.

Prof Ujjwal K Chowdhury has earlier been the Dean of Symbiosis and Amity Universities, Pearl Academy, and Whistling Woods International. He has also served as a media adviser in the Union Ministry of Textiles Ministry, World Health Organization, and The Nippon Foundation. Further, he has worked with the Times of India Group, Business India Group, and Zee News. He is a strong believer in the convergence of media and technology and its productive use in social and educational development.

Director, NIT-Patna

Prof Jain has been serving as the Director of the National Institute of Technology, Patna, since 2017. He is an internationally renowned scientist in the area of high-power microwaves devices and circuits. Under his leadership, NIT Patna has been able to establish itself as a national player. Prof Jain has also served as the Dean, Research and Development, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He is actively engaged in collaborative research and development activities, and has successfully executed a number of sponsored research projects.
