




The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament in 1949 for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. With more than 10 lakh members and students, ICAI has established itself as a premier accounting body in the world, with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest. Headquartered in New Delhi, ICAI has five Regional Councils at Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata and New Delhi along with 164 branches spread all across the country. In addition, ICAI has set up 35 chapters outside India and two overseas offices in Dubai and Singapore.
