Mount Sion School was started on 25th June 2001 as ‘Catholic School’ with Christian faith. As God led us to change the name, ‘Catholic School’ becomes ‘Mount Sion School’ in 2003. Under the leadership of ‘Sion Ministries’ we are running towards our goal to be a most prestigious establishment with a record of high academic performance. The land has been granted by the management of Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL). We are a co-educational English medium Senior Secondary (10+2) school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school today is a vibrant and exciting place to learn, catering for the pupils of Bokaro Steel City and the surrounding areas.

Welcome to Mount Sion School ! In 2001 Mount Sion School was started with a vision to create a difference. The objective of every educational institution is not only to create sharp minds but also responsible citizens of the country who have a deep sense of responsibility towards our great nation and the society. Our students should not only be able to solve the toughest Physics numerical but also be able to see new vistas on the plains of their life’s journey. In order to realize this mission the Mount Sion School creates an environment in which each student can acquire an intellectual grasp of the world’s complexities while at the same time develop the skills , confidence and adaptability necessary to participate effectively in society . A streamline innovative school curriculum, average class size, close student-teacher relationships, experiential learning and an extensive extra-curricular program characterize the uniqueness of Mount Sion School and its philosophy. This balance of structure and flexibility allows students to define themselves and grow into sensitive thinking youngsters.
