The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a premier national professional body set up under an act of Parliament, the Company Secretaries Act, 1980, to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India. ICSI functions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. There are more than 62,000 members and around 3.5 lakh students on the roll of ICSI.Headquartered in New Delhi & Noida, ICSI has four Regional Offices at Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi, a Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad, a Centre for Corporate Governance Research & Training in Navi Mumbai and 72 Chapters in various cities.
